The Lease For One Of Victoria’s Finest Pubs Is Up For Grabs Right Now

Victoria’s Kevington Hotel is a bit of a hidden gem. But if you’ve heard of it, or been lucky enough to have a cold one at the bar there yourself, you’ll know that it should be more well-known than it is,

The pub was established in 1862 on the banks of the Goulburn River. You’ll come across the iconic Kevington Hotel on the Mansfield-Woods Point Road south of Jamieson and Lake Eildon.

Initially known as Garrett’s Beerhouse, the pub was built to cater to the needs of thirsty gold miners who had been drawn to the area during the Victorian gold rush.

Now, the Kevington Hotel’s lease is up for grabs. The current owners had to close the pub at the start of the coronavirus pandemic, and have recently decided that it will remain closed indefinitely unless someone else can step in and take the leasehold.

“Dear customers and friends of the Kevington Hotel. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to open the hotel in the foreseeable future. However, If there is anyone out there that would like the opportunity to operate their own business. We are prepared to lease the hotel to interested parties. The successful applicant would have the opportunity to operate the iconic Kevington Hotel in a high tourist area on the banks of the stunning Goulburn river, lined with poplar trees and a gorgeous beer garden.
If you think you are the person/persons that have the drive and ambition to operate the Kevington Hotel Please contact Wayne on (03) 57770543 or Bruce on 0400519670″
via Kevington Hotel Facebook page.

Now’s your chance. Dream that dream.
