Take A Boat Tour To Victoria’s Mysterious Skull-Shaped Island

Australian Tourism Hall Of Fame member Rob Pennicott needs no introduction. His legendary tours around Tasmania are full to the brim with tourists and locals looking to see coastal sights, and experience amazing seafood that’s caught fresh off the boat.

Now, after years of planning, Pennicott Wilderness Journeys launched their much-anticipated Wilsons Promontory cruise in September 2019.

Using their world-first custom-built amphibious boats, the tour will depart Tidal River and take in South Point—the most southernmost point of mainland Australia—as well as The Glennies, Anderson Islets, and Anser Island before checking out the must-be-seen-to-be-believed Skull Rock.

There’s no jetty on this tour, these custom-built boats are designed to keep environmental impact at a minimum and drive on the sand and straight into the cold Wilsons Promontory waters.
