In a triumphant sweep, Grampians Olive Co., the foremost olive producer in the Grampians region, has secured two Gold medals and the prestigious Champion Best in Class title at the recent 2023 Australian International Olive Awards. The recognition underscores the company’s commitment to quality and sustainable farming practices.
The spotlight shines on Grampians Olive Co.’s limited release, the ‘Olio Nuovo Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil,’ pressed from the season’s first green olives, earning a well-deserved Gold medal. Judges praised its “creamy, clean” profile with a “super sensation of freshness.” Notably, this exceptional olive oil also clinched the Champion Best in Class award.

The olive grove’s signature offering, the ‘Signature Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil,’ was honoured with a Gold medal for its “intensely sweet nose of ripe tropical fruits, subtle floral blossom, peach, and chamomile flavours.”
The Australian International Olive Awards, known as the premier olive competition in Australia, welcomed international entries and boasted an esteemed panel of judges from China, Spain, France, Tunisia, New Zealand, and Australia.
In additional accolades, Grampians Olive Co. shone at the Australian Golden Olive Awards, securing a Gold medal, a Silver medal, and a Trophy. The ‘Signature Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil’ was lauded with a Gold medal, while the late harvest ‘Delicate Organic Extra Olive Oil’ earned a Silver medal. The former also received the coveted Trophy for Best Oil From Heritage Trees.
