There’s no bad time of year to tour around and visit wineries, but coming into the warmer months there’s definitely a call from our wine-growing regions. The Rutherglen region is not only beautiful to visit, but is also home to some of Australia’s best wineries. In preparation for summer, and to give you a taste of what you’re missing if you haven’t been to the region before, the Winemakers of Rutherglen have launched an online store featuring more than 70 wines from 18 winemakers.
“A trip to Rutherglen’s cellar doors is now not the only way to stock up on your favourite Rutherglen wines. The Rutherglen Regional Wine Store offers a selection of the region’s best wines at your fingertips.” said Winemakers of Rutherglen Executive Officer Annalee Nolan.
“Wine lovers can now browse and shop from multiple Rutherglen wineries all at once. They can order that special bottle of durif or sip on the world-renowned Muscat of Rutherglen anytime, anywhere,” she said.
The Regional Wine Store also includes a number of aromatic whites, racy rosés and bold reds; everything from classics like shiraz, durif and riesling to lesser known varietals like arneis, arinto and alvarinho. The Regional Wine Store allows you to curate your own pack from the wines available, with shipping free on orders more than $200.
