Palais Hepburn Has Closed

The years post the COVID pandemic have continued to be rough for venues in regional Victoria. Many venues are struggling to find staff, get enough customers through the door, and some are even having to resort to the final hurdle of closing. The latest venue to close its doors in regional Victoria is the iconic Palais Hepburn in Hepburn Springs.

Renovated in 2018 and brought back to its glory days by owners Richard Fanale and Brendan Wykes, Palais Hepburn was a venue that provided live music, space for functions, a cocktail bar, a bottle shop, and a restaurant.

The owners took to Instagram to announce the closure of the business.

The Palais Theatre building was first constructed in 1926, serving as a meeting place for dances in the Macedon Ranges region for almost 100 years.
