There’s been so wild and wooly weather throughout Australia over the past few days, which given it’s the start of winter probably makes a lot of sense. And given it is winter, we’ve copped some snow. The first snowfall of 2021.
According to 9News, temperatures have dropped to 10 degrees below average in Queensland, with snow falling in New South Wales and Victoria as the polar blast continues to smash the east coast.
10 centimetres of snow fell at NSW ski resorts, Perisher, and Thredbo, with the ski season getting well underway very quickly.

The Bureau of Meteorology has advised that there is snowfall expected in the NSW Northern, and Central Tablelands, as well as the Southern Ranges.
