Mildura Welcomes 400 Gradi To Town

Renowned pizza maker and restauranteur, Johnny Di Francesco, has just opened the latest 400 Gradi location—its seventh—in regional Victorian centre Mildura.

“Mildura is a special city situated at the heart of Victorian agriculture, with high-quality food and wine offerings throughout the region. We are honoured to open our first venue in Mildura and cannot wait to work alongside the locals,” says Di Francesco.

To launch the new 400 Gradi venue, Di Francesco has partnered with co-owner and local resident Michael Sarrou, who previously ran Mildura’s Fasta Pasta for 17 years.

“It’s an honour to be accepted into Johnny and Maria’s Gradi family and a privilege to showcase 400 Gradi in Mildura,” says Sarrou.

The new Mildura 400 Gradi features a Zero Gradi Gelateria, and dessert bar, and has a 300 person capacity. Expect classic Italian fare with menu items such as:

  • Arancini crumbed rice balls | Bolognese sauce, mozzarella heart and spicy rose
  • Meatballs | Napoli sauce, parmesan and chargrilled house-made woodfired
  • Margherita Verace (Awarded world’s Best Pizza at the Campionato Mondiale Della Pizza) | marzano tomato, fior di latte, basil and extra virgin olive oil 
  • 154 Formaggi (Guinness World Record Pizza) | San Marzano tomato and a special blend of 
  • Linguine Alla Pescatora | Prawns, mussels, clams, scallops, garlic, chilli and a touch of Napoli sauce 
  • Gnocchi con ragu di guancia | Traditional hand-rolled gnocchi with braised beef cheek in red wine and shaved pecorino
  • Risotto ai funghi | Creamy risotto with mixed wild mushrooms
  • Lasagna | Layered fresh house-made pasta, beef bolognese ragu, mozzarella and grated parmesan

Find 400 Gradi Mildura at 31-33 Deakin Avenue, Mildura. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday, 12pm to 11pm.
